Event Details
IVAO Lebanon presents “GO AROUND – The Ultimate Landing Challenge”, a high-energy event taking place on 13 February 2026 from 18:00z to 21:00z, where pilots arriving into OLBA will face an unexpected twist on final approach. Before landing clearance, Tower will ask a rapid-fire question, and only a correct answer earns a smooth landing—get it wrong, and it’s an immediate go-around. A second mistake sends pilots on an alternate adventure, either flying an IFR approach to Larnaca (LCLK) or requesting vectors for a visual approach at Rayak (OLRA). Designed to test knowledge, decision-making, and adaptability in a lively, high-traffic environment, this event promises suspense, surprises, and plenty of unexpected turns right until touchdown.
