In 2026, the cry of “Long may it live!” will be heard from all corners. Germany's largest airline is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Over time, the airline with the crane logo has built up quite a lot: in addition to the ever-expanding airline group structure with various subsidiary airlines, when we hear the name “Lufthansa,” we think of Lufthansa Technik, for example, as one of the world's largest maintenance companies. The airline was also a co-founder of Star Alliance, the world's largest airline alliance, in 1997. Lufthansa also stands out in the aviation world with a number of special features, such as continuing to operate the now rare A380. We want to celebrate this cult status and tradition on our network. That's why we would like to invite you to our Lufthansa Anniversary FlyIn/Out! On April 11, 2026, we want to make Munich Airport (EDDM) glow with our Lufthansa aircrafts between 17z and 20z. Together with its neighboring airport in Frankfurt, Munich is known as Lufthansa's central hub. From here, the airline group's various flights take off and land every day – on short, medium, and long-haul routes all over the world. So jump into your cockpits on April 11 and be part of this unique event.
Make sure to read your relevant briefing before the event! This will help to ensure that all participants are able to enjoy the event.
