Step into the most thrilling virtual military experience of the year! The Second Special Operations 2025 – Master Plan Cuba, hosted by the Cuban Division of IVAO, will take place on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, from 1600z to 1900z. For three hours, the skies over Eastern Cuba will turn into a high-stakes tactical battleground. Set against a backdrop of rising tensions and strategic defense exercises, this event invites pilots and controllers to take part in immersive, time-sensitive missions that simulate real-world military aviation operations. Expect intense combat profiles, simulated bombing runs, paratrooper drops, search and rescue (SAR) operations, and dogfights. Two opposing teams – one based in Holguín and the other at Leeward’s naval base – will engage in a bizarre yet thrilling storyline. Holguín’s team will attempt to take over the naval base through unconventional means, while Leeward’s defenders will do everything possible to stop them. And just when things get wild... a "splash" will trigger a full-on SAR mission for all involved. With detailed briefings, live ATC coordination, mission-specific tools, and real-time teamwork via the IVAO Family Discord, this event is set to be a fun and adrenaline-filled experience for all participants.
