The Events and Special Operations Department of the Hellenic Department organizes current year again the transport of the Holy Light from Holy Places to Athens. Traditionally Greek Orthodox church, in cooperation with Hellenic Air Force (HAF) provides Holy Light transport from Holy Places to Greek Capital city, Athens, during Orthodox Easter celebration time using HAF VIP flight from Ben Gurion, Tel Aviv to Athens and to the rest of Greece and selected cities.
