[SO EVENT][XS] Operation Ash Rising

Event Details

The IVAO XS Central America Special Operations Department invites all pilots and controllers to participate in Operation Ash Rising, a large-scale humanitarian relief operation set in Guatemala. Following a violent eruption of Volcán de Fuego, nearby communities have suffered significant devastation and the complete evacuation of Antigua Guatemala has been ordered. La Aurora International Airport (MGGT) has been established as the main coordination hub for relief operations, while Retalhuleu Airport (MGRT) will act as the forward base for evacuation, medical transport, and humanitarian aid distribution. Pilots will establish a humanitarian air bridge between MGGT and MGRT, transporting supplies, personnel, and evacuees while helicopter crews conduct Search and Rescue (SAR) operations across affected areas.
