After 27 years of service, Tassili Airlines will soon cease its operations — marking the end of a remarkable chapter in Algeria’s aviation history.To pay tribute to an airline that has carried both passengers and aviation enthusiasts through countless skies, IVAO Algeria, in collaboration with Virtual Air Algérie – Tassili Airlines, is honored to present: A Farewell Above Algeria This event aims to celebrate the legacy of Tassili Airlines and to offer it the farewell it deserves. Coinciding with the anniversary of the Algerian Revolution, this tribute holds an even deeper meaning — honoring both our nation’s heritage and one of its proudest airlines.To make this moment truly memorable, we invite pilots and ATC members to record their participation via Twitch. These streams will serve as the foundation for a tribute video — a final salute to DTH, preserving forever the spirit of this airline that has long been part of Algerian skies.As a symbolic gesture, we warmly encourage participants to remain on frequency after engine shutdown and say: “Goodbye Tassili”in Arabic or Tamazight or French or English, as a final message of gratitude and respect. Your kind words will be added to the video. To honor Tassili Airlines one last time, we also encourage pilots to use the DTH callsign throughout the event.Members of vDAH/DTH will receive a special bonus of 300 points per leg flown in recognition of their participation. Finally, we kindly ask you to stay online a little longer on stand, to allow some video footage to be taken.
